Passionate about art and painting from early on.
A career move in that direction was, however,
unthinkable due to other priorities of the post war period.
First pieces created in Peru in the 60s
together with a russian artist with south american floral
themes.

Interest in pure aquarell techniques
inspired by numerous gallery visits on Sylt;
as a result participation in aquarell courses
at the Sodener Kunst Werkstatt in 1992 and 1993.

Then curious about acryl painting.
1993 tuition in a Kriftler studio.
Since beginning of 1994 intense work
on themes of experimental acryl painting in Frankfurt.

1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 participation courses "Free Painting" with various professors
European Academy of Fine Arts,
Trier.
Workshops in Berlin and Umbria/Italy
Participation “Free Painting” at the “Staedel”-Museum Frankfurt
